Since 1986, Petroferm has been developing cleaning agents to replace hazardous substances which pose high safety, health and environmental risk. Our products are used as safe and effective alternatives to the following group of chemicals.
- Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), HCFC-141b, HCFC-225, Trichloroethylene (TCE), Methylene Chloride (MeCl), Perchloroethylene (PERC)
- Acetone, Isopropyl Alochol (IPA), Kerosene, Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK), Mineral Spirits and other low-flash point, flammable solvents

To determine which Petroferm cleaning agent is best for you, we invite customers to send or to bring parts to our Gurnee Applications Lab. We have several state-of-the-art cleaning systems in place along with cleanliness evaluation equipment and instrumentation to conduct in-depth cleaning studies.
